Shai Korman

Shai Korman is a podcast host, producer, and musician. In 2017, he co-created the Friday Night Movie Podcast with his sisters as a way to capture their family’s hilarious dynamic expressed through a deep love of movies, TV, and pop-culture. Shai also co-hosts the Goldnerds, the official fan podcast of ABC’s the Goldbergs, has guest-hosted Finding Favorites with Leah Jones, and has appeared as a guest opinionating on everything from Star Wars to Cats (the Movie) regularly throughout the podverse. Shai is the co-writer and drummer for the indie rock band, What Does It Eat, and was the co-founder of Montreal mainstay, Bear Left. 

Shai is the principal at P4T Media, a consulting firm specializing in strategic and crisis communications, media training, virtual event production, and content creation. He has also worked at the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Institute of Peace, and is currently the Director of Communications at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). 

Shai’s favorite movies are: Alien (1979),  Return of the Jedi (1983), and That Thing You Do! (1997), and JoJo Rabbit (2019).
